Mr Darren Neil Adams is one of the sign language interpreters who has worked with us for years. He joined us as a communication and interaction specialist back in 2017 and then also worked alongside our team as a Sign Language Interpreter.
Mr. Adams is a pleasure to work with. His exceptional knowledge of the Interpreting Profession and his leadership in working with people with neurodiverse conditions, such as autism and ADHD, are highly respected within our team. His interpreting colleagues often praise his bright approach in every situation. We recently had the opportunity to work alongside several Deaf healthcare professionals in London, where Darren was a part of the interpreting team. The feedback from the Deaf professionals was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting his joyous work ethic and his willingness to go above and beyond to ensure effective communication, even in challenging situations.
Mr. Adams is a highly valued team member who is well-liked and appreciated by everyone here. His fighting spirit and constant drive to improve himself are noticed by all who work with him. He is a reliable member of our team, often relied upon more than he should, but we are truly grateful for all he does. His recent qualification as a Deafblind interpreter is a shining example of his dedication and outstanding ethics. He always holds the principles of honesty and integrity in high regard.

"He supported me and my husband throughout the process of our son's autism diagnosis, from the school reports and PIP assessments down to just learning as parents what we could do. Darren was incredible.
He has brought our family an entirely new sense of joy, and we are all incredibly grateful for everything he has given us."

BSL / English Interpreting Services
As a fellow Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI), I wanted to venture into the work of "Performance interpreting".
I had undertaken smaller bookings, such as LGBT Prides and local community events, but I was eager to enter the festival world.
Darren approached me and offered me a chance to work alongside him and two other RSLIs at an event this summer (2024).
I co-worked performances and speeches throughout the 3-day festival event with Darren and couldn't have asked for a better colleuge; he was supportive, professional, reflective and a joy to work with.
He has paved the way for my expectation of supportive co-workers.
Thanks, D
